| Salam Alaykoum wa Rahmatu Allah wa Barakatoh!
Here are the required documents for marriage in Algeria:
- Certificate of marital status certifying that you are not married (translated, notarized and legalized)
- If you are divorced, the decision to divorce (translated, notarized and legalized)
- Birth certificate
- Medical tests (better to be done in Algeria)
- Passport + copy of passport
- ID + copy of ID
- 3 Photos ID type
- Criminal record certificate issued by the Ministry of Justice of your country.
Documents are legalized by the translation office (in French or Arabic the translation), then over legalize by the Ministry of Justice, and then aimed at the Foreign Ministry of your country and the Algerian Embassy in your country.
After you prepared the documents for your marriage and everything ready, you have to submit the marriage documents to the Algerian authorities and wait at least 1 - 2 months for their agreement.
